Otis Packing is a family-run local business in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan area. We rent out equipment that simplifies your moving process. We deliver (free delivery in city of Saskatoon, c’mon somebody!) and pick up directly to and from your doorstep! We’re so happy to be a part of your community!
How Otis Packing was Created
When the owner of Otis Packing needed to move several times as a single parent of two young children, the harsh realities and stresses of moving became known up close and personal! Jessica did not know of services such as Otis Packing during her moves.
Sticky tape, endless trips with boxes, expenses and exhaustion were repeated. One day Jessica stumbled upon news of moving box companies. She saw building Otis Packing, an eco-friendly moving box company, as a win-win opportunity for her family and the city of Saskatoon.

Invested in our community
Jessica was born and raised in Saskatoon and lived here for most of her life, so she is very familiar with the city and its multiple neighborhoods.
“My favorite thing to do in Saskatoon is walking the Meewasin valley trail, visiting the train bridge. I enjoy spending time with my husband and fostering animals,” says Geiser.
“I have experience working as a substitute teacher within Saskatoon’s school divisions and was also looking to start this as a side-business with the possibility of it expanding. I love the idea of eco-friendly moving and I know moving is a common experience many citizens of Saskatoon share.
There was no doubt in Jessica’s mind that Otis Packing would provide a very helpful service to people in need. Reflecting on past stressful experiences moving (with cardboard boxes by the way, which were *not* the way to do it but were the only way Jessica knew how), Jessica imagined offering a unique service for people needing last-minute moving help, or helping in particular single-parent families or families needing an ~extra~ level of moving help. Jessica was positive she would be so joyful in knowing this company could make things even slightly easier during new chapters in the lives of everyday Saskatoon people.
